a blog to call my own? fantastic.

hello and welcome! this is my very first post on my very first blog. if your reading this, it means you either
a) value my opinion on matters pertaining to.. well, A levels, Army and Everything In Between
b) vehemently believe that my words will make your day : ) (or, if you happen to be on the receiving end of a rant, break it)
and lastly c) enjoy some of my very own flavor and character!

the tone of this blog will swing. many blogs i have read always seem to maintain a certain feel or tone throughtout their whole tenature as reflections on a person's thoughts. understandably. people do not use blogs to really vent their feelings and emotions because, lets face it, pixels and posts can hardly do a man or woman's ponderings justice. many just do not feel that they can put what they are REALLY REALLY feeling into a blog. either it offends, scares, or just makes selected readers uncomfortable.

however, lauhan-loong.blogspot.com will refrain from this commodity. not only shall i post events that happen to me, but i will write exactly what i feel about them and how they affect this vital part of my life. therefore, expect a fully charged journal which documents feelings, charts emotion, and lastly, bursts with a vibrant mix of opinions and views.

on a lighter side, please feel to comment... when you meet me in person. this is MY blog. i value the thoughts of others, and i will amend anything which people tell me they find unsuitable or simply inappropriate. msn, sms, or even call to discuss what you think is really the case in such and such and how you were not really doing this then and there. i will lend an ear to you and hear you out and if i find you sensible, i will immediately make an apology on this blog and correct my mistakes. but, until this occurs, my ideas stand.

finally, you should know something about how i have decided to post. each post will be followed by a song or at least lyrics which i feel i can relate to on a personal level and can truly, TRULY cherish. i love music, as it blends so many emotions together, just like i hope to do with this blog.
as such, the songs will either be linked to the subject matter of a post or just how i feel when i was posting.

in closing, i do hope that people enjoy this blog and benefit from it. i will try my best to make every post an entertaining and fulfilling one. the whole purpose of this blog is to store away memories and good times to look back on, especially if you are a close friend of mine and will, i pray, share the next few years with me. if anything, i sincerely hope that i can look back on these posts with my good good friends in the future and remember every trial and error, every hope and accomplishment.
