davidoff cigarettes are my clarity potions, but you are my tangos

oh yes i AM a nerd.

man its exactly a WEEK to my enlistment. never mind, try to have more fun.

like yesterday when i had lunch with jaesh and ameya. after eating at dome and wondering why jaesh kept asking us to touch his chest(to feel his muscular pectoral, apparently. yeah, i know... wtf right.), we decided to go to a quaint little riverside pub for a few cold ones. you know, one of those smallish but stylish english pubs theyve got lined along clarke quay.

while sipping on my beer and smoking a cigarette, we began chatting about stuff. guy stuff. its very... aiyah how to say. hard to put down in words lah. yanni should have a pretty good idea, i explained to her what usually comes up whenever a few good guys gather for a talk. dota, ns and so on and so forth. the usuals.

jaesh brought up something quite fascinating while drinking his apple cider though(which was tasty, and pretty strong. after all, later back at the office he DID say he felt a bit sluggish... or maybe it was just his work. i can relate to that.). in five, ten years time, we will all be back in this area(raffles place) working. him as a lawyer, me as a businessman and ameya as... well... i dunno, something lah. im not quite sure what he wants to be later on in life.

kinda makes you think. i mean... there we were drinking at two in the afternoon, smoking like kings and enjoying the swift breeze coming off the river. would we still be able to do that in the near future? would we still be able to afford that kind of luxury?

man, i hope so.

anyway, after busing back to sixth avenue i had to run home in this insane downpour. there were literally WAVES of water rolling down the hill it was so bad. after waiting ten minutes for it to let up i decided to myself no way would i waste another second in this stupid bus stop, especially without any smokes(i finished my pack with jaesh and ameya, who took two each. this was followed by jaesh refusing to buy me the pack he owes me. i was not so high and not so dry at this point of time.).

thus i got to namly place soaking to the BONE and shivering like yanni watching shutter. which is a lot. drying off was easy though, made so due to my copious lack of hair. its so convenient!!! one swipe and TAADAAAAA!!! all nice and dry! i got up to my room to waste the rest of the day away, tired and cold as i was.

today was even more fun! i met yanni for breakfast at around ten ten(i was made ten minutes late because the stupid bus driver actually broke the age barrier. he was so old he moved at speeds i thought impossible: fucking fucking fucking FUCKING slow.) and we had some lovely canteen food at acjc.

after which we headed down to town to try to find my pure white berms!!! im looking for these cause ive got quite a few dark shirts and i think... wait, this is boring. ill just stop now.

basically, we ran all over orchard road but still didnt manage to find what i was looking for! ... ok fine, we DID find what i was looking for but for dots sake they were 180 dollars. the scenario was pretty... amusing. come let me try to paint the picture for you.

imagine calvin klein at paragon. after hours of fruitless searching, im sifting through some racks with leaden spirits and a heavy heart when all of a sudden i hear yanni's excited voice going "HAN HAN I FOUND IT!!!".

rushing over, my eyes widened at the sight of such lovely berms. they were white, they were nicely designed and they were what i was looking for. woohoo!!! quickly, i made a dash to the changing room where i found they were one size too small. asking for a larger size, i suddenly realised that i still didnt know the price for said berms yet.

looking at the tag of the bigger berms when the help brought it over, i received quite a shock. one hundred and eighty dollars. oh well done. no way am i paying such a hefty amount for these. narrowing my eyes in trepidation, i was busy wondering what should i do next as i closed the door against the oh so expectant salesman. what follows are the panic thoughts which ran through my head...

"shit shit. what am i gonna do. i cant just hand these back and say their too expensive ill look like a complete tard! what kind of moron asks for different sizes and then says that their too pricey?!?! its just unheard of!!! cmon han cmon think think thi... hey. these fit just fine!!! whoa i look... friggin hell, i look STUNNING in these!!! lemme go see what yanni thinks..."

*opens door and walks over to yanni*

"yam, waddaya think?"

"oh hey nice."

"ogay. at least now i know my size."

"what size ARE you?"

"actually i dunno im going back to check."

*goes back in changing room, locks door*

"okok so the salesman already knows that we both like it. damnnit what to do?!?! hmmm. hold on lemme check the size. WHOA. WAIST 31. FRICKIN HELL!!!!"

*bursts out of the changing room and rushes over to yanni*

"YANNI YANNI IM A 31!! I CAN WEAR 31!!"

"sweet"

"hi sir so will you be purchasing that?"

*pause....*

"er... yeah... um... could you just hold that for me? im gonna go withdraw money and ill be right back!"

"of course sir!"

"ok be right back!"

*both of us walk briskly out the shop*

"your not coming back are you han."

"no. lets leave quick, i feel my karma taking a huge dip."

ogay. after this, we went to mccafe! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm iced chocolate. tastttyyyyy. : D

at around two thirty we took a cab back to school were we parted ways. yanni had more swim pe, the poor girl, and i had to go home and dota! yes, HAD. i HAVE to pawn noobs to keep my senses keen you know. its something youll understand only if your above average at dota. yes jerome, that excludes you.

no, no jerome. not you. no. i said NO jerome. bad jerome. bad noobish jerome. sit. hold position. ok now dont feed! good! dont feed! good jerome! goooood jerome! wait.. wait... NO. NO. BAD. BAD JEROME. I SAID DONT FEED. BADDDD JEROME. DONT FEED!!! AW, SEE NOW LOOK WHAT YOUVE GONE AND DONE. BAD JEROME! WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH YOU?!?!?
