whoa.
last night i had these... really vivid dreams.
they went like this:
im running to meet someone. she stays right around the corner in a house ive never been to before, but somehow i know exactly where to find it. out of breath, i cant help but wonder why am i in such a hurry. is it because im late for something? or maybe because(and this is far more likely) in the back of my mind i want to see how this dream ends?
i race past the last tree on this avenue and turn right. there it is. a modest dwelling, pieced together not too long ago. the dark wood bears no sign of moss or algae, the pale white paint still gleams with a dull sheen. i slow down at its front gate, steadying my breathing and looking at the strangely welcoming abode. taking an especially deep breath, i push against the intricately wrought iron designs and step up the short driveway.
theres a quick breeze in the air, softly scented by the grass and glowing flowers which make up the quaint garden. while the sun shines brilliantly, there are clouds sufficient to blot out the more striking rays. i take all this in, walking purposefully toward the door. oak build and door handle painted gold. tasteful.
here i pause. the doorbell is on the side, the type where you hold down for digital melodies to announce your presence. i automatically lift my hand and press the... wait. stop. puzzled, i stare at my outstretched finger and the white doorbell mere millimetres away. why does this feel... wrong? not what im supposed to do? why this pause in the certainty thats guided me for the past few minutes?
confused, i wait. then, as if she herself subconsciously nudge me, i suddenly remember. i knock on the door. two slow raps, then two rapid ones.
immediately, the door swings inwards. a girl stands before me, an expectant smile on her face. her hair hangs to her shoulders, polite and quick to the chase. eyes large and shining with mischief look at me with a brazen gaze, roofed by delicate yet sharp eyebrows. a nose so perfect it wouldnt look out of place on a greek statue hold up small, expensive spectacles. her upturned lips mirror a cockiness i thought only i was possible of, and then that disbelief melts away as i take in the rest of her body. a grey tank top with short pants i know shed only dare wear at home makes suggestive promises, her hand on her hips invoking an aura of haughtiness backed by true beauty.
without saying a word, she takes me by the hand and leads me upstairs, all the time that question she loves to ask hanging in the air, unspoken. on the second level, right before we go into her room, she turns around and puts her smooth arms around my neck, drawing her mouth right next to my ear as she whispers, "what took you so long?".
nestling my face against her silken hair, i answer, so quiet im sure even God himself has to strain to hear the words this match made in heaven has traded several times before. "im here," i say, drawing back and kissing her on the lips, "and so are you. and thats all that counts."
her smile now turning slyly into a blazing hint of things to come, she opens the door while still facing me. sliding her hands to my waist and slowly off my sides, she sashays backwards into the room, which i notice have all the curtains drawn and lights dimmed. she lays herself on the plushy bed, eyes now slits, daring me to come closer. now wearing a little smile of my own, i enter her room and close the door.

cooooooool.
hahahhahaa yes ok, that was a tad bit... detailed. but what the hey when i awoke i couldnt recall the girls name at all!!! damn!!! now i gotta be more attentive to the people i meet, for all i know one day id just run into HER, the GIRL FROM MY DREAMS! now wouldnt that be... fantastic.
right ok so my weekend in a nutshell, because i feel like a smoke.
friday after book out(which was at twelve fifty, what the heck so awesome right!), me and kevin(my bunk mate in sea soldier course, formerly from acs international. cool guy, really.) chilled at my place over beers and the fourteenth floor view from jaya tower. we talked a whole lotta cock, discussed many many things.
friday night went to jeromes christian outreach where i saw quite a few familiar faces. got over some old prejudices and made some new friends. answered another niggling question about God and why He did things that way. left for jeromes house where on the way, my theory on instant gratification began to take root. look out for it next post. dotaed with my pais jerome and jon and hit the sack.
jerome kept whacking me awake cause of my snoring. but really, i think hes just overreacting. i mean, jons a super light sleeper and he doesnt complain. so stop being so sensitive jerome. : D
saturday woke up and went home after a glorious match with jon. at home, took a nap. woke up, prepared for my pais to come over and get inebriated(cool word right! its my new favorite. it basically means wasted, but in a more... delicate manner.). ian, kwok ming, jerome, xin wei, xiang un all came my place to chug some vodka and beer. where once again jerome proved his utter vulnerability to anything vodka. and kwok ming showed us that size DOES matter. hahahhaa
right right so they all went home and left me to clean up(with a busted ankle too. bastards. oh yeah by the way WHO THE FUCKTARD SPILLED CHIPS ON THE SHAG CARPET AND DIDNT SAY ANYTHING AH. CHEEBYE I HAD TO STEP ON IT TO FIND OUT ABOUT IT LAH!). it was all good though.
mmm slept and had that... dream. praying its one of those which hints at the future. sort of. i have those sometimes, so yeah im hoping one day it comes true. and here i am! ill probably hang out with jerome and xin wei later cause im so dead bored, but in the mean time ima gonna chill somemore over here(and have that cigarette.).
till next time my good buddies, viva la miracle!!!
Third Eye Blind's New Girl
I want a new girl
Who can show me how to have a good time
And get closer to my life's design
In the darkness
Candle light across my face
I feel myself fall into grace and...
She puts on eye shadow
A deeper shade, a deeper shade of blue
And then she gets in bed with you
Man, sometimes I get the feeling so left out
And then I'm here again
I'm crying in my beer again
Loneliness closes down like a jail
This is a lonely tale
I'm singing in my jail cell
She's got a smile so wide to ease the pain
The pain I'm going through
And then she gets in bed with you
