dark,

make your way
to me
to me

life is getting pretty routine nowadays. mount, dismount, meet jerome jaesh and my other buddies for dinner or drinks and just chill. celebrate whenever something good comes my way, take the hits and roll with them. it seems that im settling into a cycle that i should be comfortable with... but am not.

dont get me wrong, its all dandy really. but i dunno... guess im missing the good ol days when everyones happy and free. all, and i mean ALL, my chums were always ready to hang out somewhere and talk cock. not a care in the friggin world, we tore apart everything and put it back together just to laugh at ourselves the next hangover day.

now its different i feel. im not sure whether its us maturing or simply the fact that our schedules are so insanely conflicting... but ive never actually had a single event which even closely rivalled the sexy, unflinching stuff we pulled all those months ago. a year ago actually! wow, time flies nowadays, huh?

so i mean... whats up? we drifting apart? we dont give a fuck anymore? dont you people miss new years day, when we all got seriously inebriated? or that time we watched 30 days of night and chilled at starbucks till the evening grew deadly late? bugger, what about all those bo ta bo lampa toasts at chips? i cant... cant quite understand.

fuck that, theres no excuse for this kinda thing. so im pulling out all the stops this time. this time... we relive those times. im putting together a party. one thatll blast everyone senseless. itll be epic, utterly and completely unbelievable. theyll talk about this one for years to come. everyone be on standby, more details will pop up here soon.

on a side note, geraldines coming back next week, right in the middle of my navy exercise. i am very much looking forward to hooking up with her, shes been gone far too long.

food for thought: i read this article in the straits times last week. it was about how young people stereotype old people. the writer was good, very intelligent and quirky. one of her statements really really caught my eye though, so much that i took it down to put up here.

"a stereotype conceals the living story of each person."

next time you see someone with dyed hair, tattoos, a short skirt, heavy make up, a revealing blouse, a tongue ring, flashy jewellery, a girlfriend or a boyfriend, whether their ugly, fat, thin, short... keep in mind that everyone is someone else, not just another sculpted personality. cheers, me lovelies.

Han's clasp your hand

the light drowns the night
and the wind falls silent
flowers seem to glimmer
the rain starts to stop

its dark and silent now
we will never burn again
different from long ago
when i could clasp your hand
